Liability:
Leeuwen Business Consulting (LBC) is not involved in any contractural engagement with the merchant interested in LBCs services, except for signing a non-disclosure agreement. The merchant will always sign its own agreement with the acquiring solution, suggested by LBC. Thus, LBC cannot be held liable for any dispute that emerges between the merchant and the solution suggested by LBCs consulting services.
Responsibilities:
Although LBC cannot be held liable for its payment service provider suggestions, it has certain responsibilites. First, LBC only suggests solutions that hold financial licenses issued by the countries/regions that the solutions are operating in. LBC furthermore ensures that these financial licenses are up to date and in line with the regulations posed by worldwide payment schemes. Secondly, LBC updates its merchants in regards to payment policy changes within the EU. This includes new EU regulations imposed on specific risk verticals that the merchants are operating in.
